Video Live Streaming
When it comes to promoting a career as a creative online, there are numerous aspects to consider from specific media accounts to style of content, and countless others, including taking advantage of video & live streaming. At first, it may seem daunting, but just like anything else if you take it step-by-step it will do wonders.
Whether it’s on Twitch, the newly emerging site Kick, or YouTube, there are countless opportunities in video & live-streaming, so even though you may think that you are too niche to develop an audience, you’d be surprised.

To make the process more digestible for anyone new to the video & live streaming space, I’ll detail some full-proof strategies in order to develop your career as a creative online.

Strategy #1: Understand Your Niche

When it comes to making content anywhere, it is crucial to understand your “niche” or what defines you as a creative. It doesn’t matter if you’re a guitarist that excels at playing while on a unicycle, or a pianist who covers pop songs, there is an audience out there, an audience that you develop over time.

The sooner you are able to figure out what style of content you are going to create the easier it becomes. Maybe you prefer live-streaming since it allows you to communicate with your fans in real-time, which then leads you to focus your attention on sites like Kick, and Twitch, instead of being too spread thin.

On the other hand, maybe you prefer making content for YouTube or TikTok, so make sure to figure out where you want to direct your attention before losing yourself in the process.

Strategy #2: Go with The Flow

Over time your content style or elements of it will almost certainly change, so my advice is to let it happen. As long as what you are making feels right by yourself, don’t be afraid to evolve or grow as a creative through the video & live streaming content you make.

Just like anything else, there will be lows and highs no matter how good your product is, so it’s important to not get worried about what you can’t control. Whenever times are a bit bumpy stick to what feels authentic, and ultimately you will be fine.

Strategy #3: Have Fun With it!

When you are passionate about something it’s easy to get carried away in hopes of making it “big” from the get-go, although it’s nearly impossible. Doing anything well takes time, and creating video & live-streaming content is no different, so make sure to have fun throughout the process!

Push your limits as a creative, and see what’s possible for yourself online, because you’d be surprised about just how much you’re capable of. Always make sure to remember why you are doing what you’re doing in the first place, remember that child-like wonder and curiosity that led you to where you are today!

I hope that these strategies can help you start your journey as a creative in the video & live-streaming space, and make sure that you are staying true to yourself all the while. Good luck on whatever your journey may be, and as always, have a great time! If you want to learn more about video and live streaming, schedule a free consultation with us today!
