As an artist, boosting your profile is as easy as pressing the “post” button. With social media taking the world by storm, a new generation of artists is being discovered on apps like TikTok, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents. One artist, in particular, is American singer Gayle, who went viral on the app and is now an opener for Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour.
It’s clear to see how social media has given artists a platform to reach a wider audience. However, each post must have some strategy behind it. You may be wondering, why do I need a strategy? It’s difficult to watch artists like Charli D’Amelio rise to fame out of luck or algorithms, but that doesn’t mean you should dismiss a strategic approach to growing your page. To help you out, we’ve listed some simple, no-cost strategies for increasing your social media following and finding your right audience. The job hunting process can be tough, with endless scrolling on job sites and the pressure to secure a job after graduation. While opportunities may seem plentiful, the competition is fierce. So, how can you stand out from the crowd? One way is by creating a portfolio. A portfolio is a collection of your best work, showcasing your skills and abilities to potential employers. In our last blog post, we discussed how you should prepare an organic marketing strategy and set it up for success. Research and Updates The digital marketing world is ever-changing, and you'll need to keep up with those changes. Learning about SEO (search engine optimization), the process of improving your website to rank better in engine search results is essential. These improvements will ensure your website is straightforward to find for potential clients, and that it provides them with some value. You’ll need to use keywords and meta-tags (which appear on the website’s source code, not the text), and correctly label title tags. The methods and content for SEO are not stable; because they depend on what people want to look up, which, of course, is constantly changing. Therefore, it’s important to keep yourself informed on updates and algorithm changes through research, and to use tools like Google’s keyword planner. All in all, the success of your business starts with you staying ahead of the curve. It might be a good idea to look into an SEO course if this is all new to you. So you’ve started a business. You have the willingness and drive to make it succeed. What you don’t have (yet) is a big budget or enough knowledge to select and use the tools at your disposal — such as the ones provided by Google, like Google Analytics, but also social media platforms and research tools for keywords.
A lot of technical information and jargon can be more confusing than helpful for someone new to digital marketing. In this article, we’ll help you understand what organic marketing is and how to set up a plan that works for you. |
