Austin McFarland is a multi-instrumentalist, teaching artist, and musicpreneur. With over a decade of teaching and business experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role with New Works Project. Additionally, Austin serves as the Midwest/Southern Sales Manager for B. Corbin Clarinet Products and is the owner/founder of Arts Marketing & Management Strategies. He also acts as the communications coordinator for the North American Saxophone Alliance.
Austin maintains an active private studio, teaching clarinet and saxophone to students, and holds adjunct teaching positions with the Springdale Public School District and Northwest Arkansas Community College. As a performer, Austin regularly plays in and around Northwest Arkansas and is a founding member of Cynical Duo. Through his work, he aims to guide and empower people on their artistic journey while helping them foster connections within their communities.
